1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the SungAI platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and SungAI.
2. Description of Service
SungAI provides an AI-powered flood intelligence and monitoring platform for Malaysia, including real-time flood mapping, early warning alerts, hydrological analytics, and emergency response tools. The Service is intended to assist users in understanding flood risk conditions and is provided for informational purposes only.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement to use SungAI. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
4. User Accounts
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
- You must notify us immediately at support@sungai.my of any unauthorised use of your account.
- You may not share your account with or transfer it to any other person.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any Malaysian law or regulation.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its underlying infrastructure.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any component of the Service.
- Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the Service without written permission.
- Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content.
- Misrepresent flood data or use the Service to spread misinformation that could endanger public safety.
6. Important Safety Disclaimer
IMPORTANT: SungAI flood data and alerts are provided as decision-support tools only. They do NOT replace official warnings issued by the Department of Irrigation and Drainage Malaysia (JPS), the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia), or emergency services. You must always follow official government directives during flood emergencies. Do not rely solely on SungAI data to make life-safety decisions.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, software, algorithms, trademarks, and materials on the SungAI platform are the exclusive property of SungAI or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Service for its intended purpose. No other rights are granted.
8. Third-Party Data Sources
SungAI integrates data from third-party sources including government agencies, sensor networks, and satellite systems. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of such data. Third-party data is provided "as is" without any warranty.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, SungAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or reliance on the Service, including but not limited to property damage, personal injury, or loss of life resulting from flood events. SungAI's total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim, or MYR 100, whichever is greater.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
11. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law. You may close your account at any time by contacting
support@sungai.my. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
12. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will endeavour to provide notice of material changes via email.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia. You agree to attempt to resolve disputes informally by contacting us first at
